Crazy Days

It has been forever since I posted. I hope you check out my other posts below--I had a lot to catch up on. My internet was down all of last week--and would be still if Ben hadn't saved me! Thanks to Ben, and to Alisha for lending her husband to help us out. It's great to have friends who can save you from your lack of knowledge. Mike had to go out of town for the week also. The kids were so sad that daddy had to go to Nevada all week--but were reassured by the fact that he'd bring them back a prize if they were good. They actually were pretty good overall--aside from Kyle who has decided he dictates when he will sleep and when he won't--any suggestions? Mike did an awesome job over in Reno, and wowed everyone with his mad selling skills. (they wowed him with their drinking skills--something he hasn't really seen before) His boss sent me a Thank You note for letting him go--how nice was that?
Bailey when we were dropping daddy off at the airport. This is right before she started BAWLING uncontrollably for about 20 minutes.

I was doing the dishes, and went to find Kyle--he'd been TOO quiet for a while. I found him in my bed asleep, with the remote in his hand. SOO cute! I have Super Saturday I am in charge of last minute this Saturday--so I have crazily been getting ready for that too. Funny, before I had kids, I remember wondering what a stay-at-home mom does all day. Now I realize the question isn't what they do, but what they DON'T do!!

Halloween Part Two (Better late than never)

A couple of weeks while Mike was at the BYU game I raked up all the leaves in the yard, and the kids were so excited to jump in them. We even aquired some neighbor kids who wanted to jump in them too. I had to convince them it wasn't such a good idea to jump from the tree into the leaves--but they still had a lot of fun.

Kyle wasn't too sure about the leaves at first--he started laughing so hard after a minute. Cute little neighbor girl kept thinking I only wanted to take pictures of her--she kept standing right in front and posing.

LOOVE blogger! This was supposed to be after the picture below, showing Bailey running all the way across the yard and then jumping in the pile.

Running start!

"Ahhh--this is the LIFE!"

Here are a couple more Halloween shots. I looked back, and all of a sudden there was a BYU Cheerleader and Spider Man in my van! We had a lot of fun--we went to Grandma Livingston's Trunk or Treat, and then came home and went around our neighborhood with some of the kids friends.

So I was supposed to be a witch--I look more like I have Army paint on my face I think, but at least I tried. Anyone seen WALDO??

Go JAZZ!!!

One of Mike's friends called and offered him Jazz tickets, and Mike told him he'd get back to him. Then he told me that the tickets were COURTSIDE!!! Hello--you don't have to get back to a person when they offer you courtside Jazz tickets. He said he didn't think I'd want him to be away from him, since he was going out of town the next week, but I said GO! He would have been gone at Scouts for most of the night anyway--and that's just too great of an offer to pass up. Thanx Mike Kennedy for thinking of him! He had a lot of fun, he got to spend time with another old friend from High School he doesn't get to see too often--Kirtis.
The most important thing he saw there was this lady (?) With EXTREMELY ratted hair! In March we went down to St. George, and his sister Andrea and I were discussing girls who rat their hair, and he didn't know what we meant. Ever since then he'll see someone and ask if their hair is ratted. Looks like the Jazz game provided the best example! What is she thinking?? Seriously.
This is how close he was--Trailblazers taking off their pants right in front of him!

Mike and Kirtis. BFF's.
