Family fun days!!!

Kyle was helping mommy make breakfast. He is grabbing at everything now--nothing is safe! Not quite crawling, but I am afraid it is not too far off.
Tyler and Bailey love to dance in the kitchen. I think Mike and I were dancing, and they wanted to be like us.
This is the first time we really got in and played in the snow for a while. Tyler loved it, and the fact that he was soaking wet and cold didn't bother him a bit. We went to Wal-mart to buy sleds, and they were all gone! How disappointing. The kids loved just playing in the snow at home though.
Bailey loved it too--she can't manage to keep her gloves on though!
Every baby needs the naked bath tub picture-right!
Here is Bailey in her "Princess dress" from Grandma Washington. Everytime she puts it on, it stays on for days at a time--over Jammies and clothes. (it's really cold!) She is really starting to love dresses and things. I guess Tyler is rubbing off on her (he loves to dress up in girly stuff--much to daddy's dismay)

I held this picture of Tyler at about the same age up to Kyle, I can't believe how much they look alike! What babes!

OK--so this is Tyler's Halloween costume from 2 1/2 years ago, but he keeps finding it, and insisting on wearing it. I can't get myself to throw it away, because I know he'll have a cow. The other morning he put it on Bailey, which actually fit ok. This is him showing his Superhero muscles.

Here is princess Bailey eating "a crunchy popsicle" What a mess that girl is! The kids set up their own little table by Kyle's high chair, so they could eat by him I guess.

Happy New Year

Tyler had a New Years party at school on the 3rd. He went around with his stuff on saying "Happy New Year!" The whole day. It was great. He loves pre-school. Most days I have to convince him to go, but once he's there he loves it.
This is my attempt at putting Kyle in the tub with the other 2. Not too successful, as the tub is really deep, and he's a slippery little bugger when he's wet. Tyler is such a good brother to him though, I love it. Bailey on the other hand...
This is a picture Tyler took of Bailey. I put it on here because I think it's hilarious the pictures they take when they get ahold of the camera. They know they aren't supposed to, but that's the allure I guess. Most of the pictures are of the floor or Tyler's leg, but some work out.
Tyler is always saying, "Take a picture of this mom." And then he needs to look at it, to approve. They have found all of their toys in our storage room, and love to get them out. We had a flood in our basement last year, and I haven't pulled out most of the toys, because we have way too many, and until now they didn't care. But the other day, when I was lecturing Tyler and Bailey about how they needed to not play in the storage room, so they won't get hurt, and daddy spent a lot of time organizing things in there, he said "But mom, we want all of our old toys that are old and broken, because they want to get played with too, or they'll be sad. He know show to work mom over that's for sure!

Who gave Kyle a popsicle?!!

For New Years Eve we actually stayed up and had fun this year. We played games with some friends until 2 AM!!! Crazy--because the kids still get up at the same time, they could care less if we were up late.

More Christmas

Mike and I were so excited for Christmas morning this year--because Bailey & Tyler are old enough to be a lot of fun about opening presents. It was so fun to watch them, I didn't even care about opening any for me! Mike gave me a new sewing machine and come new knives, I guess I'd better get going on sewing and cooking!! He also gave me some new perfume, as the kids sprayed my last stuff all over the mirror in our bedroom--fun times. Mike got a new cot for hunting/camping--now he just needs a gun for his birthday maybe. He got cologne, a Book of Mormon study guide, and some other boring gifts. Seems like as we get to be adults, we just go and get what we want, so gift giving is hard.

Here is Kyle, playing with one of his toys. He wasn't quite as excited as the other two--especially with the 6:30 start.

This is the aftermath. It's too bad we had them take our garbage dumpster away, we sure could use it now!

Correction--Bailey got a sewing machine. She just started going nuts and opening everything under the tree. Including stuff for Uncle Joey and Grandma Livingston.

Here's Bailey with her My Little Pony. This is what she wished for from Santa.

Tyler kept saying--"YES! My wish came true!" as he opened his presents. SO fun to see the magic is their eyes. Here is with his R/C Lightning McQueen. We like cars just a little bit at our house.

Ready, get set--GO!!!

Christmas!!!

Here they are-ready for Santa! (Good luck on getting to sleep Christmas Eve!)
Kyle laughed and laughed about opening gifts--I think mostly because the other kids were so silly.

This is the kids opening their PJ's from the Elves. The Elves have brought pajamas to us since I was little, and they found our little family too!! We love new jamies!

Here is Bailey in her pretty Christmas dress Grandma Washington made for her. She didn't want to ever take it off!

Lights, Camera, Christmas

Here is Mike getting the lights started!
Wow--don't fall!
Here's what Tyler thought of his "job" in putting the lights up. Tyler kept spinning around and saying "And I will turn into SUPERMAN to save the day!"
Here's Kyle-hanging out in the saucer watching us all put up Christmas stuff. We decided to do it last night because it was so warm, and the kids have been asking to set up the tree and lights since Halloween. Mike says we need to hold off on the tree, since "Thanksgiving always gets cheated because Christmas comes after it!" So I guess we will wait until Friday for the tree, but that will be an adventure too I'm sure. Luckily, we got the prelit tree from Costco, so that's one less mess in setting it up. I am so excited for Christmas this year, I think the kids, at least Tyler and Bailey, will be a lot of fun on Christmas morning!
